My First Spanish Word Board Book/Mi Primer Libro de Palabras en Espanol (My First series) Review
This is a great bilingual primer to help very young kids learn Spanish (or English). The pictures, with Spanish description and English translation, are bright and enjoyable for the kids. The pictures are isolated to themselves, superimposed against a white background. The pages are board, which prevents the kids from tearing pages, but the finish is glossy.
The designer and editors present 16 categories, each on a left-side, right-side layout. The categories include parts of the body, clothing, and food; items inside and around the home; and basics on colors, shapes, and numbers. In addition, we experience animals and vehicles, as well as being taken to the beach and the farm.

This book was a replacement of the original book that did not have Spanish words as well. Our daughter is 13 months old and this is one of her favorite books (she is a little book worm). We have not been able to teach her the Spanish words as of yet, but you can ask what just about anything in the book is and she will point to that object.
I and my wife felt that teaching her Spanish was also essential especially when we decide to move out West were it so often used. An excellent buy and you cannot go wrong!
